Our client is looking to hire 2 Manual Welders to join their busy production team. Ideally, as a welder you will have work history of finished projects, preferably in a factory/manufacturing environment.

It is a day/evening 2 shift cycle and a permanent role. Based in Dublin 10.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a multinational organization currently in the start-up phase on a new growing site.

The role of Manual Welder will work as part of the Production Team reporting to the Production Lead. You will be responsible for carrying out operational duties associated with the manufacturing of products across a number of disciplines within the Production environment. Using specialised, technical skills and knowledge to provide advice and process support to production.

Welder Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld/join metal components in accordance with product technical drawings and in compliance with all applicable standards of safety and performance.
  • Repair metal components in order to restore full functionality and performance.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard. Keep work-station clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work environment.
  • Liaise with Team Lead/manager to execute workflow through the process.
  • Examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Assist with welding solutions in other areas of the business as required.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures for specific product(s) and MHE to a high-quality standard.
  • Work under the guidance of the Production Supervisor to meet demanding production targets.

Welder Requirements:

  • Valid welding certification.
  • Proven ability to execute basic welding techniques.
  • Experience in reading and following a product technical drawing, specs sheet, and other product informational material.
  • Familiarity with welding equipment and welding station safety protocols.
