Warehouse Operator

The Role:

Based in Tullamore, Co. Offaly with a Medical Device Manufacturer, the warehouse operator is responsible for carrying out warehousing tasks in accordance with the procedures and to provide an excellent service proactively, accurately and efficiently to the warehouse customers.


There are 2 positions available, 1 permanent and 1 contract. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all procedures, processes and work instructions are correctly adhered too.
  • Cycle counting and be available to support annual stock counts.
  • Receiving of material at the back door
  • Picking and Kitting materials for work orders
  • Preparing Sales orders for dispatch and arranging freight and shipping documentation.
  • Organising shipping
  • Keeping Warehouse and work area clean and tidy.
  • Work in other areas of the Materials Department as required.
  • Represent the warehouse team at cross functional meetings
  • Participate in a continuous improvement plan with the Materials Manager for the warehouse and receiving department.

Requirements:

  • 1 – 2 years’ work experience in warehousing required.
  • ERP Knowledge (Preferably with Oracle)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word,) would be advantageous.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
