Warehouse Operator

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Warehouse Operator to join a leading designer and manufacturer of high-reliability electronic motor control solutions based in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with a view to permanency. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for the coordination and execution of stores duties including administrative tasks, interacting with purchasing, customer service, and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually set up equipment to allow the preparation of components.
  • Packing of cards and units shipping on a weekly basis to customer or subcontractor.
  • Responsible for the stock in our off-site warehouse – maintaining stock levels in stores and sending stock off-site so that we follow all safety requirements for space.
  • Updating and maintaining off-site reports.
  • Work to schedules as prioritised by planning.
  • Ensure all Procedures and Process documentation is accurately followed and up to date in all aspects.
  • Material control, including control of inventory, transaction integrity and cycle counting.
  • Achievement of all Quality and Production targets and objectives as well as supporting Quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support Lean initiatives when required and embrace lean in your day to day activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in stores/warehouse functions is required.
  • Good communication and organisation skills.
