Our client, a global pharmaceutical leader is seeking a Visual Inspection Technician to join their team on a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Perform final product visual inspection (VI) in line with cGMP and quality standards
- Complete accurate and timely manufacturing documentation in compliance with cGMP
- Conduct in-process testing using validated methods
- Monitor and respond to process alarms to maintain production efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations, events, and exceptions
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, and regulatory requirements
- Support external inspections and internal audits (regulatory readiness)
- Participate in equipment qualification, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to develop and update SOPs and batch records
- Manage material handling, including receipt verification and transfer to warehouse inventory
Requirements:
- Leaving Certificate and 1 years’ knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements relating to the pharma/biologics industry.
- 1 year in Batch processing operations in an FDA/ HPRA regulated industry is highly desirable.
- Requires annual visual test certification for colour blindness and 20/20 vision (essential)
- Experience in handling of dangerous chemicals is highly desirable.
- Previous inspection experience in a Pharma/Biologics facility is advantageous.
