Trainee Dental Nurse – Sligo
Our client a well established practice in Sligo are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join their friendly and professional dental team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in dental nursing within a modern dental practice.
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work alongside experienced dentists, hygienists, and qualified dental nurses while receiving hands-on training and support towards a recognised dental nursing qualification.

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and cross-contamination control
- Support patients before, during, and after treatment
- Update and maintain accurate patient records
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure clinical areas are clean and organised
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care
- Assist with appointment scheduling and reception duties when required
- Learn and follow all dental practice policies and procedures
- Work towards a recognised dental nurse qualification
