This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist to join a leading supplier of process equipment and engineering solutions. Provide technical and commercial support for valve and actuation solutions, ensuring accurate quotations, effective problem resolution, and high customer satisfaction across Ireland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely technical and commercial support to customers.
- Interpret enquiries and prepare accurate quotations.
- Advise on product selection and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain up-to-date product and application knowledge.
- Meet individual and team KPIs and deadlines.
- Follow quality (ISO 9000) and health & safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in technical sales and/or relevant qualification (Mechanical, Process, Instrumentation, Electrical, or similar).
- Knowledge of process valves (ball, butterfly, diaphragm) and actuation systems is advantageous.
- Strong technical and commercial awareness.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
- Ability to assess customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and engage in ongoing training.
