Tax Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join our client’s expanding tax team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Top 10 accounting firm in Ireland, offering exposure to a diverse client portfolio and strong career progression prospects.

In this role, you will work closely with a range of corporate and private clients, delivering high-quality tax advisory services while contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice.

This position would suit a qualified tax professional who is ambitious, commercially aware, and committed to delivering excellent client service within a dynamic and supportive environment.

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in the Dublin or Waterford office and 2 days working remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery and review of corporate tax services across a broad range of sectors, including international trade, renewable energy, aircraft leasing, retail, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Provide expert advice on Irish corporate tax matters, both domestic and international.
  • Collaborate with the corporate finance team on transaction-related due diligence projects.
  • Work closely with audit and business services teams to resolve tax queries and provide integrated solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to the firm’s growth locally and within its global network.
  • Support the day-to-day management of the tax function, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their ongoing professional growth.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities and supporting advisory engagements.

Requirements:

  • AITI / CTA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a tax role.
  • Strong technical expertise in Irish corporate tax; experience in private client advisory is advantageous.
  • Proven experience managing and developing junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities, with experience working to deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and sound business judgement.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
