An exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Test Technician to join a leading designer and manufacturer of high-reliability electronic motor control solutions based in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This role will be on a permanent contract and will be based on a Mon-Fri week.
Role Requirements:
The Systems Test Technician will use schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures and specifications to set up and test Moog products.
The Systems Test Technician will use a variety of test equipment such as Digital Multi-Meter’s, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, ESS Chambers and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of electronics components and circuitry, (analogue, digital, power) to test and debug a variety of Electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems consisting of passive components to FPGA’s and microprocessors.
Test and debug of electronic motor controllers according to established procedures.
Perform failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and systems and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
Role Requirements:
2+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience in product verification and test automation would be beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Ordinary Degree / Diploma in Electronic Engineering
Ordinary Degree / Diploma in Physics and Instrumentation
Certificate in Electronic Engineering
Certificate in Physics and Instrumentation
A trade, Electrician, Instrumentation
A Leaving Cert with good results in Maths and Physics
