This organisation has ambitious growth plans and now requires a Supply Chain Manager to join the team and help to scale the business for a global market while supporting the supply chain function. This new full-time permanent role, sitting on the Operations Leadership Team will be responsible for developing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics operations, as well as ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and laws. Establish supply chains for chemicals & consumables in the EU, US and other markets
Manage international logistics and shipping for all products, dealing with all associated trade compliance responsibilities
Negotiate contracts for products and services
Source new vendors and benchmarking prices from existing vendors

What does the ideal candidate look like:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Note: Other educational backgrounds may be considered if supported by significant applicable experiences
10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of managing and optimising end-to-end supply chain processes
Extensive knowledge of international trade compliance regulations and practices
Strong knowledge and experience of negotiating commercial contracts
Experience in managing 3rd party contract manufacturers
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities
Proficiency in supply chain software and technologies
