Supplier Program Manager – Medical Devices

Our client is a global medical device provider who is committed to developing innovative healing solutions for customers and patients.

 

You will be responsible for the commercial and operational management of the contract manufacturing partners for our client, to ensure the supply and product availability.  

 

 

Role responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring product availability from client manufacturing partners
  • Establish and manage manufacturing agreements from suppliers
  • Build long-lasting and working relationships between suppliers and partners
  • Negotiating and reviewing new and established service level agreements
  • Reviewing costs and contracts to ensure long term stability and supply of products
  • Contribute to planning for new product implementation to drive effective supply, costs, and control
  • Working with suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain
  • Risk Management – to ensure no risk to supply
  • Engagement with teams across business units to support requests for quotations and proposals with existing and new third-party suppliers
  • Development of process improvements to support the supply chain and improvement of value and services
  • Contributes to business reviews with key suppliers to drive and improve supplier performance

 

Educational / Experience Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a contract manufacturing or 3rd party supply chain management environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing & developing supplier relationships including contract negotiation, establishing and developing supplier relationships & management strategies
  • Management of annualized standard cost settings, pricing, & cost out programs
  • High understanding of GMP, Compliance, Validation Practices including the system development life cycle and Regulatory expectations
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP /ASCP system or similar database system and Business Objects software program
