Lir Analytical are a research, development and manufacturing life science company based in Ireland, supported by highly engaged food producers and food processing customers in Ireland, the UK and Europe. Current sectors they serve are Dairy Producers, Food processing & Pig & Poultry Producers. Lir Analytical has grown from a research project in the Midlands, into one of the fastest-growing companies in Bio-Security development.

The company is headquartered in Longford, however this role can be hybrid.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver the Marketing Strategy to deliver Strategic Growth for Lir Analytical
Work closely with the Strategic Business Development Manager to co-create a winning business and marketing strategy, including targets, growth plan, timelines and KPIs
Provide consumer insights and data driven information and works closely with Business Development to translate into growth strategy
Manage and monitor the performance of the Marketing Strategy (aligned with Business Development & Sales plan) - adjusts, refocus as needed to achieve targets
Own and manage Lir Analytical Brand in Country & Region
Ensure alignment of positioning to identify and support customer needs
Establish marketing campaigns to support growth in distributors and customers using the full range of Lir’s Products
Develop and understand the target markets, trends, key customers, and opportunities.
Partner with local and regional distributors and experts to gain market insights and opportunities
Build networks to have insights on changing trends
Use data driven methods to make decisions on opportunities and resource allocation
Work with external marketing agencies and partners to deliver value for the business
Provide clear expectations on deliverables to external / support agencies
Performance management against agreed deliverables
Ensure Lir Analytical standards are met
Requirements:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
Minimum 7-8 years experience in strategic marketing, ideally in a B2B environment in the food, scientific or Agri industry
Must be a fluent English speaker. The ability to speak another European language (ideally German) is a distinct advantage
Must have very strong creative digital marketing capability and the ability to maximise these to establish creative campaigns
High level of proficiency in the use and exploitation of social media, creating profiles and personas.
Experience in common digital tools, graphic design, and content creation
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, notably Powerpoint and Excel
Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organised and effective planning with attention to detail
Strong Project management and analytical skills
Customer focussed with the ability to translate insights into actionable communications.
