Excellent opportunity for a Snr QA Manager (GMP) and QP / Trainee QP to join a Biologics Leader in the Northwest of Ireland. The role will be responsible for managing two biologics facilities in Ireland and oversee a QA Team. The Senior QA Manager will have experience with biologics or pharma, people management experience and be eligible to become a QP or be registered as a QP.

  • Lead and motivate teams through effective communication, assigning responsibilities to achieve goals, and coaching for succession planning.

  • Maintain strong relationships with management, colleagues, and customers, articulating quality requirements clearly.

  • Represent the company in regulatory inspections, assist with audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Emphasize a strong quality culture for high-quality products with reduced non-compliance efforts.

  • Foster continuous improvements, identify efficiencies, and participate in strategic project meetings.

  • Attend routine quality meetings, customer complaints meetings, and represent the Business Unit at the CCRB.

  • As a QP, approve relevant business records, including batch records, certificates, product reviews, and NCRs.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Pharmaceutical Science (QP) is mandatory.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, operations, regulatory, or relevant fields, with at least 2 years in direct people management.

  • Knowledge of QA systems and GxP compliance, including regulations and standards for devices, biologics, and pharmaceutical products.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills at all levels, along with motivational and influencing abilities.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Strategic thinking to ensure compliance and exceed business needs on an enterprise-wide level.

  • Strong decision-making, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to anticipate needs.
