Excellent opportunity for a Snr Pharmaceutical Development Analyst to join an innovative Life Sciences Company in Northern Ireland. The Snr Pharmaceutical Development Analyst will oversee development, optimisation, validation and transfer of finished product methods of analysis. The role will manage the qualification and characterization of analytical reference standards and associated impurities. Drive stability testing of R&D batches of finished product all in line with current GMP requirements

Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available on request)

  • Training of new/existing staff 
  • Oversee laboratory activities and personnel to ensure Method of analysis, SOPs, and GMP are being adhered to.
  • Thoroughly review study data
  • Work in conjunction with the wider R&D teams to deliver on Method Development and validation, Pre-approval Validation, Stability testing etc
  • Assist Team Leaders with any analytical issues in order to accelerate project timelines

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a chemistry or pharmacy related discipline
  • Experience of chemical/drug product development and manufacture
  • Working knowledge of GMP
  • Educated to degree level in a science related discipline.
  • 2 years previous experience working in a cGMP environment.
  • HPLC, UPLC, GC and practical wet chemistry experience.
  • Experience in GMP data review.
  • Knowledge of Method Validation of Finished product methods and Stability studies.
  • Mass spectrometry experience.
  • Process validation/manufacturing experience.
  • Ideally have experience with troubleshooting relevant lab equipment; HPLC, UPLC, GC etc.
