Our client, a leading global healthcare company in Sligo is keen to hire a Service Centre Technician to join their team on an initial 6month contract. The Service Centre Technician will work the Weekday | Day Shift.
Responsibilities (Full job description available on request):
- Perform assigned duties under the guidance of Team/Unit/Shift Leader/Manager
- Execute operations in the service centre and warehouse, including cleaning and autoclaving equipment, managing inventory, and completing computer applications
- Ensure compliance with all documentation and Good Manufacturing requirements
- Train new employees and adhere to relevant operating procedures
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and assist in purchasing non-inventory materials
- Participate in project work such as product transfers, characterisation, and validation of facilities, equipment, or processes
- Ensure adherence to environmental procedures and seek opportunities for improvement
Ideal background:
- Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or 7 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Accountability for proper procedure adherence to prevent financial losses, customer complaints, and product recalls.
- Authority to carry out duties with minimal supervision
- Formal goals and performance reviews conducted annually
