Senior Technical Sales Manager

Our client, a well established and growing multinational company based in Dublin West is looking to hire a Senior Technical Sales manager to join their young, dynamic team. They are looking for someone who is an ambitious, technically strong sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who is happy to travel nationally and internationally.

This candidate will have to source new customers and business contracts, demonstrate the technical features of the company's products, drive sales and maintain strong/key customer relations.


  • Work closely with the Senior Management team to develop new product and customer strategies for the continued growth of the business

  • Responsible for educating & working with specifying clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and end users in European market 

  • Must provide market leadership and guidance on the application of company products

  • Must deliver technical product presentations to all stakeholders involved in projects.

  • Review project specifications and devise sales and bid strategies to maximize opportunity for each product ranges.

  • Responsible for achieving regional sales targets through the technical marketing and sale of products

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining key relationships throughout Europe including installing contractors, general contractors, clients, developers, architects, and engineers 

  • Must demonstrate the ability to proactively target projects in the design stage through developing and leveraging industry relationships in an effort to positively position the company product range. 

  • Provide internal project management support as needed on projects.


  • Must have a proven track record of 5-10 years experience in a similar role

  • Must have a background in engineering and be very familiar with the construction industry, experience with the construction of data centers would be desirable but not essential

  • Must be flexible to travel nationally and internationally as the role requires

  • Must be a very strong communication skills

  • Have excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines and targets

  • Must be a good team player
