Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Sales Manager to join their team. This is a permanent contract based in Leitrim.

This role will be responsible for Ireland and UK sales revenue. You will be responsible for the profitable management of projects and contracts, from inception to completion and building profitable customer relationships for maximum business return. 

As a Senior Sales Manager, your duties will involve:

  • Ability to identify and develop business opportunities in the furniture manufacturing and specialist joinery sectors in Ireland & UK

  • Responsibility for continuous market intelligence gathering and critiquing this data to inform company sales strategy

  • Customise and communicate the company customer value proposition to each member of client’s buying team in response to an understanding of their respective pain points

  • Generate and manage the sales deal pipeline process and work with sales colleagues on revenue generation and business development

Key Accountabilities:

Financial Performance:

  • Generate target turnover per month and annually, to achieve target gross margin

Sales Pipeline:

  • Maintain sales pipeline deal stage % opportunities as targeted

  • Manage CRM and planning boards, for deal pipeline management

Business Development:

  • 70% of company monthly sales budget in place by the start of each month

  • Build target run rate for monthly order book

  • Lead generation and conversion targets to be achieved

Customer Management:

  • Manage key accounts to increase GM by target % per year

  • Overall responsibility for customer management and customer-facing activities

  •  Sales management meetings

 Strategy:

  • Manage and recruit sales team for company business units

  • Create Sales channel strategy and increase product ranges

  • Manage, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years sales experience

  • 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline

  • Full clean driving licence

  • Proven experience in Sales Pipeline and CRM management

  • Ability to travel frequently around Ireland and to and from the UK
