Our client, a global medical device client, is seeking a Senior R&D Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development and commercialisation of new products on site in Co. Mayo. This role will focus on delivering strategic projects within a structured NPD framework, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams through product development and commercialisation
Develop business cases and support global product launch strategies
Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and ROI targets
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive project success
Mentor team members and promote a high-performance culture
Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
Drive continuous improvement and best practice in project management
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related field
8-10+ years experience in product development project management (medical devices or regulated industry preferred)
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA/21 CFR)
Experience working in matrixed environments
Desirable
Master?s degree or PMP certification
