Duration: Until 2nd June 2025 initially.

We are partnering with a leading client in the medical device industry to find a talented Senior R&D Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to cutting-edge projects and make a significant impact in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop innovative products and solutions in the medical device sector.
  2. Conduct in-depth analysis and troubleshooting during the research and development phases.
  3. Translate research discoveries into marketable products.
  4. Lead studies to investigate specific life science questions within your area of expertise.
  5. Manage and deliver projects from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with policies and standards.
  6. Mentor junior colleagues and oversee their project contributions.
  7. Drive process improvements to enhance product performance and project outcomes.
  8. Collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders to share insights and influence decision-making.

Requirements:

  1. Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a university degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  2. Proven track record in R&D within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Strong project management skills and experience in leading complex projects.
  4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  5. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
