Our client, a leading utilities company is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager for their Sligo site.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company to the Employer/Client on the design-build (DB) project
  • Safety, planning, quality, controlling and monitoring work
  • Ensuring Contractor adheres to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures
  • Ensure Contractor meets the scheduled programme and other technical specifications
  • Assist in fulfilling the duties of the PSCS and PSDP
  • Act as Contract Administrator, safeguarding scope, programme obligation, analysis of delays and damages.
  • Ensure the Contractor is adhering to all Contractual requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same
  • Provide visibility on actual progress achieved in relation to contractual and regulatory obligations and assist with schedule recovery as required

Requirements:

  • Experience of subcontractor management
  • Site management of both MEICA and Civil Works
  • Experience of Pre-Commissioning and System Handover
  • Civil/Mechanical or Electrical Degree Qualified Engineer
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite (outlook, word, excel, powerpoint, etc.) 
  • Proficient with project planning software such as Microsoft Project
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects
