We are partnering with a multi-national medical device client in Galway to support with hiring a Senior Project Engineer to lead key initiatives across manufacturing, sustaining engineering and product lifecycle management. This role offers the opportunity to deliver impactful projects while working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-performance setting. This is an initial 18 month contract role and is based onsite.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects with defined plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support sustaining engineering and day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply processes.
- Collaborate with operations, quality, R&D, and supply chain to resolve issues and deliver project goals.
- Influence stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Execute and adapt project plans in line with changing business needs.
- Support post-market, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques, including Lean and Six Sigma.
Requirements
- Level 8 degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in project engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
