Senior Program Manager Medical Devices

We have a new opening for an experienced Program Manager for our Medical Devices client. This is a leadership position, you will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution of specific business transformation programs across diverse business functions, technologies and geographies, ensuring consistency and alignment with company strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the program’s development from concept to completion.

  • Work with business stakeholders in ensuring that program scope, goals and deliverables anticipate future business requirements meet requirements.

  • Manage the full-scale program plans and associated communication documents.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communications and stakeholder management plans

  • Develop an estimate of resources and the participants needed to achieve program goals. Negotiate with other leaders for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.

  • Provide timely visibility into key decisions, status, risks and issues

  • Anticipate and pro-actively resolve program issues and conflicts over the program life cycle.

  • With program partners, plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

  • Define program symptoms of success and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

  • Create a trusting, collaborative, and ethical work environment that positively contributes to employee engagement.

  • Proactively seek and leverage meaningful external relationships and partnerships to identify innovative solutions in delivering program objectives.

  • Lead internal collaboration of teams and/or stakeholders across the enterprise in delivering program objectives. 

  • Promote a work environment that challenges the status quo.

  • Empower people to act with speed, agility, and accountability, enabling them to achieve their goals

Requirements:

  • 10+ years Project Management experience Proven track record of leading transformational change in a regulated environment across diverse business functions, technologies and geographies.

  • Bachelor (or equivalent) degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. 

  • Extensive experience in applying structured project management and systems development methodologies to deliver business change.

  • Experience of building relationships with executive and senior leadership, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.

  • Proven track record of leading Enterprise level IT systems programs.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives.

  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple solutions

  • Proven facilitation skills across multiple business disciplines, organization levels and geographies.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Medical Device industry experience required.

  • Project management accreditation preferred.
