Senior Mortgage Advisor - Leads Team

Our Client, one of the top 3 mortgage brokers in the country, is experiencing major growth due to a huge increase in the demand for their online switching platform. They are looking for a Senior Mortgage Advisor to join their Leads team on a permanent basis in their offices in Clonmel, Tipperary.


As a Senior Mortgage Advisor in the Leads Department, you will be responsible for providing expert mortgage advice and guidance to potential clients who have expressed interest in obtaining mortgage products. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing leads, assessing their mortgage needs, and guiding them through the process.


Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential customers who have expressed interest in mortgage products and provide comprehensive advice regarding available options.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of mortgage lending regulations, industry trends, and product offerings, and provide up-to-date information to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Leads Department to manage and prioritise leads effectively, ensuring timely follow-up and consistent engagement with potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service and promoting customer retention.
  • Meet individual and team targets for lead conversion, mortgage applications, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in mortgage regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior mortgage advisors, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the team's overall performance.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Mortgage Advisor.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Previous experience in mentoring or training junior mortgage advisors is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mortgage concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • QFA is desirable but not essential
