This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Fitter/Turner with strong industrial maintenance experience to join a growing maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on large industrial machinery.
- Diagnose breakdowns and complete mechanical repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Repair and replace bearings, sprockets, chains and drive components.
- Welding and fabrication using MIG, TIG and Stick.
- Use of lathe, milling machine and other workshop equipment.
- Complete machinery refurbishment and repairs during planned shutdowns.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential faults.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with permit-to-work procedures.
- Qualified Fitter/Turner or equivalent.
- Minimum 3years'+ industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with large-scale processing machinery.
- Welding and machining experience.
- Good understanding of electrical systems is an advantage.
- Reliable, safety-focused and quality-driven approach.
