Senior Logistics Specialist

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Logistics Specialist to join a global company that specializes in repairs for machines/systems and has been in successful business for  over 30 years. Reporting to the Supply chain manager you will collaborate with the global supply chain team to manage the delivery of their products to international customers. This is a Permanent job offering Hybrid working (Longford ) along with an excellent benefits package and opportunity for progression.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee transactions within the Oracle Database management system.

  • Manage international shipping, including setting up sales orders, generating packing slips and custom invoices.

  • Prepare necessary documents such as EUR1, VAT, and others for both EU and Non-EU shipments.

  • Handle urgent shipments outside of the Oracle system.

  • Generate and issue Purchase Orders for the international supply chain.

  • Regularly run and respond to the Reorder Point Report.

  • Review overdue Purchase Orders in Oracle on a weekly basis.

  • Assist in costing for new business ventures as needed.

  • Monitor part usage and establish reorder points.

  • Prepare Spare Part Pool Lists.

  • Manage cycle counts.

  • Collaborate with US Engineering to complete Bill of Materials for new projects.

  • Create cash flow forecasts.

Experience Background / Qualifications required:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics and/or Materials-Inventory Control Management discipline

  • 5-10 years’ experience in similar role

  • Experience working with Oracle desirable
