We have a stand out opportunity for a Senior HR Generalist to join a growing automation technology organisation based on the south side of Cork city on a permanent basis. In this varied role, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle and get the opportunity to work on notable HR-related projects. This opportunity would ideally suit someone coming from a HR Generalist/HRBP background who enjoys building strong relationships and has the aspiration to progress to HR Business Partner over time. Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):

  • Build effective, trustworthy and dynamic relationships with the Management & Leadership teams whilst building morale and increasing employee engagement within the company
  • Fully participate in developing and implementing the HR strategy and various HR initiates
  • Support and drive the end to end recruitment and selection process, ensuring best practice whilst sourcing the highest calibre candidates
  • Administer compensation and benefit programmes
  • Support and facilitate the Performance Management process ensuring best practice
  • Maintenance of timekeeping and attendance software
  • Update company intranet with relevant HR information as required
  • Onboarding/offboarding activities
  • Provide analysis and reporting to the management team as required

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • CIPD qualified, with 5+ years of HR Generalist or equivalent experience in a fast-paced environment
  • You will enjoy working in a team environment where initiative and commitment are key, and empathy and openness are essential; be self-organised and strongly motivated
  • Working knowledge of HR systems, SAP Success Factors would be desirable
  • Experience of working closely with senior management and line managers
  • Proven ability in designing and implementing HR initiatives that support strategic business goals
  • Solid understanding of Irish employment law
