Senior Ecologists
Science & Pharmaceutical
Senior Ecologists required to join MWP growing Environmental teams in Cork & Kerry. The Senior Ecologists will provide services and solutions to Renewable Energy, Marine, Pharmaceutical, Agrifood and large infrastructure projects.
Overview of Main Responsibilities:
- Ecological field work
- Preparation of biodiversity chapters for EIARs
- Preparation of EcIA reports
- Preparation of AA Screening reports and Natura Impact Statements
- Project Management of ecological projects in a diverse range of sectors
- Preparing Tender Submission Proposals
- Client management and business development
- Management and mentoring of junior team members
- Consultation with regulators and statutory bodies
- Stakeholder engagement and management
Skills / Qualifications Required:
- Degree in Ecology or Science equivalent. MSc preferable
- 6 to 10+ years’ experience, ideally in environmental consultancy
- Membership of a professional body desired
- Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Specialist knowledge or experience in Ornithology would be a significant advantage
- Full driver’s licence
