An exciting opportunity to join one of the world’s leading financial institutions as a Sr.Business Analyst. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in the Dublin area. The ideal candidate has experience within a Business Architecture function who has a working knowledge of the Jira tools. However, candidates with experience in Business Analysis within the financial services industry will be an advantage.

About the role: 

 The Senior Business Analyst will be working within the fund accounting domain on strategic change projects and support the business architecture team.

 Role and Responsibility:

  • Gathers, analyses, and builds business requirements for a business outcome for a value stream.​
  • Can quickly gain an understanding of the process flows within the domain, including the exception management process.​
  • Documents the business process flows including exception flows.​
  • Participates in discovery team rituals such as stand-up, workshops.
  • Familiar with Jira and utilize this tool to track the progress of milestones and work assigned.​
  • Create knowledge share documentation and facilitate and run workshops to educate and solicit feedback from internal and external partners on new initiatives and initial feasibility assessment.
  • Provide various management reports and operational MIS.
  • Employ project management tools and techniques when working on project initiatives
  • Interact and liaise with the Architecture and Technology teams as well as external vendors to resolve functional & technical concerns.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Solutions orientated with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a financial services organization.
  • Strong desktop, IT, and systems skills required, and an ability to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments.
  • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
