Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) required to support large-scale power, substation and electrical framework projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with EHSQ policies and procedures.
- Support site management with records, reporting and equipment requirements.
- Inspect electrical systems for hazards and compliance.
- Diagnose faults using appropriate testing equipment and tools.
- Work with circuit breakers, transformers, CT/VTs, cabling and associated components.
- Test electrical systems, wiring, equipment and circuit continuity.
- Plan electrical wiring, equipment and fixture installations to project specifications.
- Oversee the assembly, installation and testing of electrical equipment and components.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Authorised Person (AP) or Person in Charge of Work (PICW).
- Supervisory experience on live substations at 33kV or above is essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Full Irish driving licence.
