My client have a new opening for a SAP OTC Manager Hybrid This is a permanent. This person would be responsible for providing management & technical leadership for the SAP OTC team supporting ECC, CRM & related systems; and ensuring that products and solutions are developed and supported in accordance with the company’s business plans & objectives. The incumbent will manage a global team of functional SAP resources and work closely with business and IT teams to analyze business priorities and needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the global Order to Cash SAP team of up to 5-7 team members
- Provide expertise in the analysis, design, implementation and support of OTC Applications and
- Processes. Develop and manage the performance of a global team with the objective of building a world-class IT organization through identifying, coaching/mentoring, retaining and attracting top IT talent.
- Manage resource assignments and priorities; working with other functional managers to coordinate assignments to projects and other deliverables.
- Manage the development/configuration and maintenance of application systems by conducting meetings with users to determine their system requirements.
- Support the initiation process for new project requests including analysis of possible solutions, scope definition, resource, cost and schedule planning.
- Manage global template for applications to ensure SAP system remains stable and supportable.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to by team members.
- Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the functional and development team members.
- Act as expert support on business processes in respective area of responsibility.
- Ensure the release of system changes according to validation procedures.
- Deliver consistently high-quality service and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
- Track, monitor, review, and report project progress where appropriate.
- Share ideas, information, knowledge, and data proactively to accomplish collaboration for the success of the team, project, or task Work with Senior Business and IT Leadership to determine priorities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical field such as Computer Science or Information Systems.
- A combination of education and experience with SAP ECC may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 8-10 years experience working in an SAP IT project / support environment.
- 5+ years leading / managing professional level employees.
- Experience in SAP Configuration for Order to Cash: Customer Service, Customer Master, OTC Master
- Data, Pricing, Order Management, Delivery Processing, Logistics/Distribution, Returns, Billing, Sales,
- Sales Reporting, Customer EDI, 3PLExperience and knowledge in Vistex, Service Mgmt and SAP Customer Experience applications, specifically Commerce, Marketing and Service Cloud applications, would be highly desirable
- Experience in an FDA regulated environment preferred.
- Specialised Skills & Other Requirements:
- Participation in each phase of an SAP implementation or rollout including Resource Planning, Design,
- Implementation, Testing, Cutover, and Go-Live support.
- Familiarity with Solution Manager preferred.
- Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving and Leadership qualities would be highly rated
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and take actions based on understanding and judgment of all factors involved and based on independent interpretation and application of various disciplines involved
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities while dealing with changing priorities.
