Sales Operations Manager | Data Analysis

Our client is a leading manufacturing company with locations in both Ireland and the UK. We are on the lookout for a Sales Operations/Data Analysis Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Group Sales, the successful candidate will play a key part in the operations of the sales process and will be a critical member of the sales management team.

The ideal candidate will come from an analytical or financial background. Strong analytical skills are a must and experience within B2B sales operations is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the interfaces between sales and operations across all sites to ensure that production and sales plans are aligned.

  • Travel to the company's other sites to ensure the sales operations agenda is uniform throughout the business.

  • Work closely with key Production and Log Procurement teams to ensure production schedules maximise sales, yield, and profits.

  • Produce and develop group weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance reports.

  • Manage and optimise the group-wide sales process to enable data-driven performance. 

  • Focus on removing bottlenecks and driving automation and process improvements.

  • Create a sales operations plan to align with our services with the customer’s journey.

  • Ensure all invoicing, pricing, and customer terms are maintained and optimised.

  • Own the ERP/CRM sales administration and setup, ensuring the sales team maintains customer data.

  • Develop the required sales technology stack that includes sales tools and workflows to enable the delivery of the Group sales strategy.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant third-level degree in data analysis, Business Accounting, Finance or similar.

  • 3+ years of experience in managing data-driven processes within business analytics

  • Extensive experience using ERP/CRM systems

  • Ability to travel between sites when needed (Northern Ireland and Scotland)

  • Process improvement mindset

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel.
