My client, a well-established, well-known company in Athlone is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded individual to join an established sales team in a B2B sales role. It will be target driven, customer-facing role, dealing with clients face-to-face and over the phone.
It is a permanent role, based in their offices in Athlone town. The candidate must have their own form of transport (mileage will be paid). They offer a competitive salary as well as commission based on sales targets achieved.
Achieving set targets (revenue based)
Sourcing and selling to new businesses
Developing business relationships with existing customers
Speak to a minimum of 20 decision-makers a day (telephone based) - also will be face-to-face calls with clients
Collecting cash payments and debtors.
Must have 1-2 years B2B sales experience, ideally in media sales but will be flexible.
Must have experience doing outbound calling
Must have excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
Must be a strong team player and have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
