The organisation are looking to maximise sales of capital equipment within of the Republic of Ireland. As a Sales Engineer out in the field, you will have the opportunity to promote the business through development of the customer base.
The Role...
Visit customers as part of the sales and marketing of all the Oil Free Division Product Portfolio in the 26 counties of Ireland while continuing to develop relationships to a set number of key accounts.
To undertake proposals and manage technical bid submittals, including the calculation of sales prices to achieve sales that includes internal design reviews, sending CAD & PDF product drawings, P&ID mark-ups, system design review with clients and the assembly and provision of bid documents and populating data sheets as required and follow-up as needed.
To include for the review of all RFQ's and prepare all Bid Offers to include pre and post follow up requirements of the customer i.e. all documentation, drawings technical issues etc.
To support sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets
To review Terms and conditions associated with all such project and agree T&C's with clients on the award of all contracts
To support sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers which can include calculating energy usage, system performance, pressure drops, pipe sizing, and control philosophies).”
To ensure that an excellent standard of after sales service is provided
To support sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the timely recording of visit and action reports (including lost order reports) and analysis of sales performance against budget
Requirements:
Experience in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Knowledge of compressors, blowers, industrial gases, chillers or air treatment is desired but not essential
Mechanical or electrical engineering degree. Qualification by experience can be proven
Sales Experience previously would be an advantage.
Business analysis skills
Full Irish driving license
Excellent computer literacy, able to learn new systems
Good standard of presentation skills
Able to travel throughout allocated work area on a daily basis
