I am recruiting a Construction Services Business Development Executive for our client a market leading manufacturer located in Co Offaly. This is a permanent opportunity.

Potential candidates must be self-motivated with a passion for sales and business development. You will be responsible for expanding and enhancing the companies profile in the market place.

Previous sales or business development is essential ideally from a Technical Sales/Building Services/Construction/ Hard Ware or DIY Sales environment

Responsibilities:

  • Development of new markets and Clients and managing pre existing Client base.
  • Expanding the current client base to include, Builders, Architects, Interior Designers, Quantity Surveyors and clientele direct.
  • Making Presentations to Prospective Clients
  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
  • Devising and Presenting ideas and Strategies
  • Designing & developing company brochures, stationary etc
  • Promotional Activities
  • Organising events and Product exhibitions
  • Coordinating internal marketing and an organisations culture

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years + experience in a similar role. (Ideally from a Building Services/Construction BD / Hard Ware or DIY environment)
  • Experience selling to Builders, Architects, Interior Designers, Quantity Surveyors-distinctive advantage
  • Account Management and Business Development experience.
  • Experience forecasting sales and building a customer base / business development.
  • Full drivers licence and available to travel nationwide as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
