Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation committed to driving regional growth through strategic investment and they are currently looking for a Regional Executive to join their team in Waterford City on an initial 1-year fixed-term contract with a strong possibility for permanency. This role can be worked on a hybrid basis – 3 days in the office, 2 from home.
Flexibility required to travel to visit client sites within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of Regional Enterprise Development Clients to support their transformation and growth using the suite of supports/products provided.
Develop marketing propositions, content, and itineraries to attract and maximise investment opportunities in the region.
Strengthen the regional business ecosystem through networking and stakeholder engagement.
Plan and manage visits to business locations within the region.
Assist the Regional Manager in addressing client challenges and supporting new start-ups.
Represent the organisation at meetings and events, promoting its strategy and economic impact.
Work with internal teams to enhance regional presence and maintain a strong reputation.
Uphold values, embrace technology, work independently under pressure, and foster a respectful and balanced workplace.
Key Requirements:
A relevant Level 8 third-level business/sector-related degree is essential.
Ability to work well under pressure, flexibly as a team member, and independently on own initiative.
Client-facing/client-engaging experience is essential.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
A full driving license is essential as this role will require regional travel.
