Quality Specialist | Risk Management | Sligo
We have an exciting new opportunity with global healthcare leader with a large portfolio of life-changing technologies in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals and branded generic medicines. Our client is active in more than 160 countries and they offer great career development prospects at site level or within the wider corporate business. This new Quality Specialist role is initially offered out on a 12 month fixed term contract with a view to a longer term permanent role within the team.
As Quality Specialist for risk Management you will ensure compliance with the company's Quality System standards and international regulations at the Sligo Plant. Drive consistent, high-quality processes and products while prioritizing safety and environmental guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee Risk Management activities across all functions.
Approve Risk Management File documents.
Maintain and update Risk Management Files.
Lead cross-functional teams in reviewing changes and their impact on risk analysis.
Collaborate with initiators to document Risk Management information.
Support training initiatives on Risk Management.
Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
Provide guidance to other departments on risk management processes.
Drive cross-functional teams for consistent risk management practices.
Report monthly activities to the Quality Engineering Manager.
Prioritize safety and environmental procedures, suggesting improvements.
Identify situations requiring Risk Management input.
Ensure compliance with site and Division requirements.
Education & Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field, OR relevant experience.
Excellent communication, team, and organizational skills.
Proactive approach to task management and meeting deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationship
