Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, development, implementation, communication and maintenance of quality management systems, polices, documentation, data, and customer-specific requirements
- Lead the development and roll-out of the Site Quality System and all Certification and Standards Programs associated with same. (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14,001)
- Review current processes with a view to supporting the optimisation of manufacturing cost
- Investigate and troubleshoot product and/or production issues
- Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements as necessary and where required
- Develop and implement quality standards as they become warranted
- Develop and implement quality control systems to support same
Skills & Abilities Required:
- College Degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial or Environmental Engineering
- Lean Six Sigma certification, ideally to blackbelt standard
- 5+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related role
- Experience using QA software tools and processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Capable multi-tasker who can work to tight deadlines
- Team Player
- Strong Computer skillset competency ideally with Data Analytics & SPC exposure
