An Exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company on a permanent basis. As Quality Assurance Manager, you will support the Head of Quality and will manage and coordinate all Quality Assurance activities across all departments within the company.This position is based in Waterford. Hybrid model available once training is completed. Attractive Package.

Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):

  • Maintain the Pharmaceutical Quality System to include: People, Premises & Equipment, Production, QC, Outsourced activities, Complaints & Product.

  • Manage QA support for all departments: Operations, Engineering, Finance, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs, Business Development, IT, Technical Services, Research & Innovation.

  • Recruit, lead, develop, and manage the performance of the team, coach/mentor the team to aid learning and early problem resolution.

  • Have ownership of deviation procedures and approval of investigations.

  • Manage Vendor Qualification.

  • Manage batch package preparation for QP release.

  • Implement Safety requirements as per site documentation including SOPs, Safety Statements and COPs

  • Manage and facilitate outside Inspections (Customer audits / Regulatory inspections)

What the ideal Quality Assurance Manager looks like:

  • Minimum of degree level in a science discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of people management.

  • Strong experience working in a Manufacturing environment, ideally Pharma.

  • Qualification/experience in Lean Six Sigma is desirable.
