Our client Ireland's leading Vitamin and Mineral Supplement provider based in Westmeath is looking to hire a Quality Administrator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Administrator. to join a successful company during a period of significant growth and expansion.


The Role:

The key aspect of this role is to support the company in an administration capacity that incorporates both production and quality functions.


-Production Function                                  - Quality Function

-Sales order processing                                  - Hygiene audits

-Purchase order processing                            - Raw material testing

-Logistic support                                             - Finished product testing

-General production support                          - In-process checks

-Liaison with suppliers                                        - Verification of equipment

-Liaison to accounts                                        - Non-conformance reporting

-Issuing production documentation                - Corrective & preventative Actions


Key Attributes:

  • An individual with a minimum of 12 months of experience in food manufacturing is desirable.

  • A Diploma in food science or related discipline.

  • Keen attention to detail with a quality-conscious mindset.

  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to adapt and be flexible according to business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Recognized Science qualification and have gained substantial quality assurance experience within the food or drinks sector or similar

  • Working knowledge of HACCP and Quality Systems combined with good IT skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with strong planning and organizational ability.
