Our client Ireland's leading Vitamin and Mineral Supplement provider based in Westmeath is looking to hire a Quality Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Administrator. to join a successful company during a period of significant growth and expansion.
The Role:
The key aspect of this role is to support the company in an administration capacity that incorporates both production and quality functions.
-Production Function - Quality Function
-Sales order processing - Hygiene audits
-Purchase order processing - Raw material testing
-Logistic support - Finished product testing
-General production support - In-process checks
-Liaison with suppliers - Verification of equipment
-Liaison to accounts - Non-conformance reporting
-Issuing production documentation - Corrective & preventative Actions
Key Attributes:
An individual with a minimum of 12 months of experience in food manufacturing is desirable.
A Diploma in food science or related discipline.
Keen attention to detail with a quality-conscious mindset.
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to adapt and be flexible according to business requirements.
Requirements:
Recognized Science qualification and have gained substantial quality assurance experience within the food or drinks sector or similar
Working knowledge of HACCP and Quality Systems combined with good IT skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with strong planning and organizational ability.
