Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during routine and specialist dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment
- Maintain cross-infection control and decontamination procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after patients
- Record and update patient notes and medical histories
- Take dental radiographs where qualified and authorised
- Support patients before, during, and after treatment
- Manage stock levels and order dental supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Use dental software systems for records and appointments
- Assist with reception duties when required, including appointment scheduling and patient querie.
- Recognised Dental Nursing qualification
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control standards
- Fluent English communication skills
- Computer literacy and familiarity with dental practice software
- Dental Radiography qualification
- Experience with software such as Dentally, SOE, Aerona, or Exact
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and caring manner with patients
- Attention to detail and clinical hygiene standards
