Qualified Accountant Hybrid

My client, a well-established and reputable practise, based in Cavan is looking to hire a qualified accountant to join their team. They are looking for an experienced qualified accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career to join and grow with them. They offer a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities will include: (Full description available on request)

  • Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and companies.

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients.

  • Handling of compliance taxes across all taxes including income tax, corporation tax, RCT, VAT and payroll taxes.

  • Liaising directly with clients.

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Must be a fully qualified accountant or relevant Third level qualification

  • 3-5 years working in a practice environment

  • Audit and/or Tax Qualification is desirable but not essential.

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles.

  • Administrative experience of the tax system under multiple tax categories

  • Must have strong IT skills

  • Must be a strong communicator, ability to work as apart of a team and on own initiative

  • Have experience managing own clients and stakeholders
