Project Scheduler | Hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Scheduler to join a leading engineering solutions company on a permanent basis. This organisation has offices in Cork, Limerick, and Dublin. With a fully hybrid working model in place, this role can be based in the Cork or Dublin site. The Project Scheduler will be part of the growing Operational Division and will report to the Operations Director and will play a key part in delivering exciting projects in Sustainable Energy and Aviation sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Management via P6 and MS Project
  • Planning/Scheduling programs and schedules on projects
  • Liaising with the project teams and maintaining schedules
  • Ability to monitor critical paths on projects
  • Ability to manage delays in the program schedule
  • Project management support
  • Input into weekly progress reports
  • Identify issues and risks at the earliest opportunity
  • Schedule of workload, equipment, and resources
  • Ensure our core Customer Care principles are adhered to

Key Requirements

  • Related Degree or Trade Qualified plus minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with Project Planning / Scheduling, within the industry
  • Strong IT skills with proven experience in MS Project and P6 (Primavera) is essential
  • Planning skills

  • Good initiative     
  • Ability to manage priorities     
  • Ability to work independently

Non-essential but good to have

  • Previous experience with MV/HV, Solar, Wind Energy and Airfield works is desired but not essential
  • Experience in KPI & Milestone reporting across a programme of work is an advantage
  • Experience in NEC, FIDIC or Public works contracts is ideal but not essential
