As a Project Process Engineer, you will be responsible for
Engineering Studies/Design of Experiments (DOE): Lead the development, execution, and documentation of innovative processes, equipment, and materials to establish optimal performance parameters.
New Product/Process Introduction: Oversee the introduction of new products from concept to testing, ensuring a seamless transition and effective process development.
Process Development & Documentation: Innovate, assess, and refine processes, maintain comprehensive documentation, and conduct trials with effective problem-solving strategies.
Process Qualification: Manage process qualification stages (IQ, OQ, PQ), demonstrating a thorough understanding of process capability and meticulous documentation.
Mould Setup & Validation: Coordinate the setup, validation, and design review of new moulds, collaborating with customers to meet project requirements and timelines.
Equipment/Machinery Management: Operate and maintain moulding shop equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
Mechanical Design & Continual Improvement: Lead the design of measurement and work holding fixtures using design software and drive improvements in existing processes to enhance product quality and productivity.
Energy Efficiency & Technical Proficiency: Map and manage energy use, implement reduction strategies, and demonstrate technical knowledge in PLCs, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and mechanical principles.
As a Project Process Engineer, your will need to have:
Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical, Polymer, or a related Engineering discipline is essential.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in mechanical design software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD/Draftsight.Good understanding of PLCs, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and basic electrical principles.
Process Engineering: Experience in conducting engineering studies, designing experiments (DOE), and process qualification stages (IQ, OQ, PQ). Skills in process development, documentation, trials, troubleshooting, and continual improvement initiatives.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability in new product/process introduction, mould setup, validation, and design review. Hands-on experience with moulding shop equipment operation and maintenance, including IMM, chillers, heaters, driers, material feed/blending, and robotics.
