Project Manager - PMO

Excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to setup a PMO for a growing company in Sligo. The Project Manager-PMO will support site-wide project delivery through effective governance, scheduling, coordination and reporting. Working cross-functionally, the role will track milestones, risks, resources and dependencies, support project prioritisation, and provide clear visibility to enable timely decision-making and successful project delivery.

Overview of your responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules across site projects.
  • Define key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and critical paths.
  • Align project plans with site priorities, resources and manufacturing requirements.
  • Work with site teams to minimise disruption to manufacturing operations.
  • Track project progress, readiness, schedule changes and key decisions.
  • Prepare dashboards, status reports, risk logs and governance updates.
  • Coordinate governance meetings, actions, escalations and follow-ups.
  • Support project prioritisation using schedule, resource and risk insights.
  • Ensure consistent project management tools, templates and reporting standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Science, Operations or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in PMO, project controls/planning, engineering, manufacturing, pharma, biotech or another regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO, project governance, scheduling and reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities.
  • Skilled in project schedules, dashboards, risk and action tracking.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, with the ability to identify risks, dependencies and resource constraints.
  • Effective stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working in a matrix environment.
