The Role:
Our client, a leading medical device organisation located in Athlone Westmeath is seeking an experienced Logistics & Distribution Project Manager to work within their supply chain function. This is an exciting position with opportunities to work on various projects at a global level.
This is a permanent role offering Hybrid working.
Project Manager Responsibilities include:
- Manage multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
- Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, scheduling, identification of risks, and contingency plans, and ensuring delivery within agreed schedules.
- Manage specific projects/initiatives as directed which require liaison with IT project teams, supplier and technical teams and business commercial and other functional teams to on-board new business and improve existing business flows
- Support Global & Regional L&D / Inventory / Supply Chain / Transport & Enterprise-wide initiatives as required
The ideal project manager will have:
- Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Transport or Logistics.
- Knowledge of the Customer-driven Global Supply Chain is required.
- Project management experience and Qualification or Certification.
- Proficiency in working with systems, reports and analytics.
Other beneficial skills and experience:
- Experience with Planview / MS Project or other PM tools
- Tableau or Power BI experience advantageous
- ERP Business Process IT knowledge (SAP preferred)
- Experience of online portal technology for Dashboard views and self–service reporting
