An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading maintenance service provider to the regulated market, based in Cork on a permanent contract.
Direct all project phases – engineering, costings, materials & manpower planning, work execution and commissioning/start-up, billing.
Ensure that the project is developed and delivered to meet Eirdata and our client’s quality standards and requirements.
Utilise project management methodologies, systems and tools.
Ensure work and equipment compliance, certification to all related regulatory & statutory directives, standards & guidance.
Lead small teams which includes Eirdata staff and for certain projects trusted partners/subcontractors and facilitate the communication and interaction among all stakeholders.
Track projects against schedule, budget and against key milestones, reporting status to on a regular basis.
Manage project budget and controls costs and billing effectively.
Review and approve key project and commissioning documents including P&IDs, Operating Manuals, client reports etc.
Complete the Project Proposal to ensure the Scope of Work is properly defined and ensures that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the Project requirements, timelines, financials etc.
Develop Project Execution Plan.
Health & Safety – Complete Method Statements, Risk Assessments, all preparation work for client requirements such as site induction, PPE, ensuring training up to date etc.
Demonstrated project management competency gained over 3-5 years in a similar role.
Engineering Qualification - Third level or Apprenticeship qualified with Project Management qualification / experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
Strong compliance knowledge – experience working in or servicing regulated sectors such as Pharma.
Clearly able to define, communicate and deliver multi-disciplined project objectives
Problem solving / Solution focussed.
Deadline focussed, able to prioritise and delegate effectively.
Excellent communication / customer focus skills.
