We have an exciting Program Manager role within a fast paced and high-impact R&D Department with our client, a leading indigenous electronics company based in Shannon.. With over 30 years of success driven by a culture of Quality, Service, and Product Innovation, our client is at the forefront of emerging Cloud-based and IoT developments. This is a full-time, permanent position and is based fully on-site in Shannon.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement a project management process tailored to our client's needs, ensuring consistency across projects from concept to manufacturing.
Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables for each project within the program.
Create efficient processes for effort recording, work estimation, and capacity planning to ensure effective resource allocation.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, team members, and leadership to align on project objectives and priorities.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, monitor project budgets closely, and make adjustments to ensure financial objectives are met.
Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
Facilitate transparent communication among stakeholders and provide regular progress reports to executive leadership.
Identify opportunities for process enhancement and best practice implementation to drive efficiency.
Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
5 years' proven experience in program or project management, preferably in electronics.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project and Jira.
Experience in cross-functional team management and stakeholder engagement.
Project Management qualification is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
