Program Coordinator

I am currently recruiting for a Program Coordinator to join a leading Healthcare company in Cootehill, Co.Cavan. This is a 12-month temporary contract.

This is a key role responsible for managing all capital projects on the site.

As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following

Capital Business Office

  • Coordinate the sites capital portfolio using a systematic process to scope, plan, execute and monitor the capital projects across the site
  • Develop and manage program governance and communication with stakeholders and project teams for the capital portfolio
  • Create and monitor capital project KPI's

Project Management Office

  • Implementing best practice frameworks, controls, governance processes & procedures ensuring compliance with internal & external requirements
  • Develop standard methodology & tools for project delivery
  • Ensuring consistent project reporting and insights are available to enable fast-paced decision-making

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through defined CI Project Methodologies
  • Facilitate sharing of best practice and improvement opportunities

Plant Shutdown Management

  • Manage the scoping, planning, execution, wrap up and lessons learned for each plant shutdown
  • Manage the plantwide communications for shutdown program
  • Ensure risks are identified and mitigations planned

Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Finance/Business or 6+ years experience in Manufacturing/Financial/ Quality Operations


  • Excellent presentation & documentation skills
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, SAP
  • Be either working towards a PM certification or have a certification already
  • Possess strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills
