The Production Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a production environment, ensuring targets are met safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role involves leading a team, coordinating workflow, and driving continuous improvement across processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities
- Lead, motivate, and support a team to achieve performance targets
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production schedules
- Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
