We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Operator to join a well-established manufacturing operation.
This position operates on a 2-cycle shift pattern and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a range of folding machines and glue systems
Monitor machinery and carry out basic troubleshooting as required
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are consistently met
Follow all relevant safety procedures and quality SOPs
Pack and prepare finished products for dispatch
Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
Work effectively as part of the wider production team
Meet agreed production and efficiency targets
Requirements
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Basic numeracy skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions
Good written and spoken English
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Previous manufacturing, production or machine-operating experience is an advantage
