Job Opportunity: Product Assurance Engineer
Our client, Ireland’s largest space-related company and a global leader in inertial sensor technology is seeking a talented Product Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this key role, the successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for all product assurance and quality-related aspects of the project. The ideal candidate will bring a strong manufacturing background and hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters on the project.
- Develop and manage product assurance documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and seamless execution.
- Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure alignment with the company’s quality policy and project product assurance standards.
- Organize and lead product assurance reviews at critical project milestones.
- Manage non-conformances and oversee reviews to ensure proper resolution.
- Develop, update, and maintain quality procedures.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive configuration records.
- Ensure traceability of design changes throughout the development and implementation phases.
- Conduct hardware inspections and compile detailed quality inspection reports.
- Facilitate customer visits and lead quality audits.
Job Requirements:
- BSc/BEng (Hons) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with excellent time management, organisational, and prioritisation abilities.
- Based within a commutable distance of Blanchardstown, Dublin, Ireland, or willing to relocate.
- At least two years of experience in a similar product assurance role.
- Experience working in cleanroom and ESD-controlled environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as ECSS, is preferred.
